Why Morzine?

As a resort it has it all, if you want to relax and enjoy the mountain atmosphere the pavement cafes are a great choice, you can have a walk around the many shops selling a huge range of ski/board equipment, clothing and souvenirs or you can visit the weekly market and sample some local tasty cheese and wine. If on the other hand you are a bit of a party animal and want a lively holiday there is a wide choice of bars and clubs to suit everyone.

The Bars

If you are looking for après ski, the Crepu and Dixie bar are both good, where there is often live bands playing. Bar Robinson is a must, its famous for its old lager, but you will have to check it out to find out why!! Later in the evening you can choose between bar Buddha, which has a nice chilled vibe, Coyote bar, good for a game of pool, the Garage which host’s some good DJ’s, but if its dancing you are looking for head to the Cavern, with its themed nights and old school music, it’s a laugh!

Restaurants

Morzine has many options for eating, you can choose from take away pizza and burger bars to traditional restaurants such as L’etale (which is very reasonable and also does very large portions!) or the more expensive La Grange.

Other Activities

There is whole range of other activities to do during the day and in the evenings, from parapenting, snowshoeing and dog sleigh rides to night time tobogganing, watching the local team play ice hockey or going to the cinema. In your apartment/chalet will be a welcome pack full of details of what is available throughout the resort, prices, times etc.
